3D scanning measurement technology applied to LNG ship size detection

I. Project Introduction LNG carriers are divided into membrane-type and independent tank-type according to their cargo tank systems. Independent tank-type ships place cylindrical, tank-shaped, spherical, and other shaped tanks inside the ship. During the construction of tank-type LNG ships, the hull and tanks are independently built and then assembled. The installation position and dimensional accuracy of the tanks in the hull section directly affect whether the tanks can be successfully installed. Therefore, precise control of the installation position of the tanks in the hull is particularly important.

Background Introduction IN-CHECK ship and steel structure detection software is an important part of our company's IN series precision management system. In recent years, with the increasingly wide application scenarios of IN-CHECK software, our users have put forward some new requirements. To better meet the needs of our users, our company recently organized professional precision control technicians and software R&D personnel to extensively collect user needs and conduct a completely new design and R&D of the airborne IN-CHECK software. The new version of the airborne IN-CHECK (V5.0) software was officially launched on September 1, 2024.
